Yes I know, I Know, I haven’t updated in a little while. Having a child is a time consuming thing I tell you. Well let’s see, firs off Nyla is doing well and so is her momma. Nyla is currently 5lbs 2oz (though at the time of this posting she may weigh more hopefully). As far as me, I have been off from work for a little more than 2 weeks, and honestly ready to go back.
So now that I have said that, I must….I’m going crazy! lol. Yes this child doesn’t sleep well. While she does sleep all day fine, however during the night she seems to not be able to stay asleep, waking up or just laying disturbed throughout the night. She won’t sleep good in her bed, so the only way to have her sleep quiet currently is to prop myself up and have her in my arms, while this works, this is no way for me to sleep. Her mom still sleeps deep, so if she cries in the middle of the night I’m the one that has to get her, and after trying everything, then I wake her up to feed her. This cycle is wrecking havoc on my system. I’m going to have to figure something when it’s time for me to return to work, cause being up like this isn’t going to work once I return.
Well this is more to this update, but I’ll have that as another post, since that is on a different parenthood topic. To you all, haha sleep well lol!
Awww papa … I hope my little man sleeps through-out the night. I remember those days and boy oh boy, they do put a toll on you. Especially when you have to work.
I hope things get a little easier for you.
