Ok so I know it has been a little while since the last post, sorry things have been busy over at G Style Magazine. Check it out October 1st, as we celebrate our 3rd anniversary.
So this is from Sunday night. Nyla had spent Saturday night and Sunday with my parents. When they brought back Sunday night she had these 2 little baretts in her hair which I didn’t even notice cause they was small. So Nyla played around for awhile then we put her to bed. As she does at times, she didn’t want to go to bed so was crying and making a fuss in her room. Eventually Nique took her out and let her lay on her while we was watching TV.
So while we was watching Nique notice what she thought was a booger in her nose. Turns out this child took the baretts out her head and stuck them in her nose. There was 2 of them, 1 in each side of her nose. So now Nique is panicked and I proceeded to get one of them out here nose. But when I looked at the other side she had the 2nd one in that side and it was deep in there.
I ran to the room to look for tweezers, but couldn’t find any. Thinking quickly I grabbed my nail clipper. The nail clipper had that small nail file piece which I never use. I was able to use that piece to get into her nose and get behind the barett and slowly push it to the front of her nose till I popped it out. All while Nique was panicked and Nyla was screaming, just call me cool hands luke :o)
After the baretts were out, Nyla was ring and just sat with us for a little bit till we put her back to bed. I’m proud of myself for my quick thinking and calm stance, you need to be that way I think at time like that. Being so allowed me to make a quick rational decision. So that was Sunday nights roller coaster and I’m sure it won’t be the last!
